New Years Not what I Expected

Hello all. I need to tell you New Years Eve did not go as expected.... I didn't ever make it to the movie in the afternoon as I suffered a heart attack as a blood clot hit my heart... We were only a mile from home and everything went BAD... I am not going to share all the details but I was fortunate enough to still be alive when Tom Got me to the emergency room in Defiance... They did a wonderful job there of blasting the blood clot and getting me on a helicopter to St. Vincents in Toledo.... where I have now been released with hopes of more years to come.... I will post again soon... just wanted to let everyone know I hope everyone had a much better New Years than I did but yet you know I shouldn't really say that cause I made it through and I am still here... and it was VERY VERY painful and experience you cannot explain...... Bless all of you my friends... Be back soon...

Oh my lord, I am so glad you were able to get to a hospital in time!!! Thank goodness. Strange because my sister was also rushed into the hospital right before the new year, she thought she was having a heart attack. She had what they are calling an arterial spasm, but they did find a blockage near her valve. They can only treat with Medication for now, maybe surgery later. You are so lucky and I am so glad you are still here to share your blog with us.

I found you by following by friend Debra's list of links. I am so sorry to read this was your experience. My Mom recently had to have a clot removed and is doing well. Give your self the time you need to heal and to get your energy back! Love your blog by the way! :)

Marietta,
I just read the post where it told about your heart attack!
I am so sorry that happened, but so glad you are doing better each day.
God is obviously not finished with you here yet.
Blessings as you continue to heal.

(Do these old comments get to you, or should I write on a newer post?)

Take care of yourself.
