Dreaming Of A Space All My Own

I have been dreaming of a space to retreat to that I can call all my own and have not went any further than the dreaming....... I do so need a area to place all my supplies and have it organized... I guess this is every crafters dream but I do need to make it happen..... This photo is in the Victoria.. "Decorating with a personal touch" ... It is the style I would like to take on as I can achieve the look with vintage sheets I have acquired to use for projects.... I think it is a challenge to make this space have the look I would like to have a still make it useful and organized..... I know this won't happen before we leave for Florida but I think as I am dreaming by the pool or on the beach my thoughts may be of how I would like to make this special area happen for myself..... I know allot of you real artists have lovely work spaces ....... My desire is a little cottage or shed all completely finished in vintage and roses but that is not a option... only a dream...... I am going to be giving this a tremendous amount of thought... to be continued......

Dear Marietta,
I often dream of a "room of my own." Maybe even a corner! I often daydream of owning some sort of vintage textile shop ~ mostly Edwardain Tea gowns (you know those white lacy ones) and vintage linens and lace.

I hope you will have your dream space someday ~ I bet it would be gorgeous!

I am sorry to read that you had a bad fall, hope you are feeling better!

Marietta -- carve out any small space as your own - you are so talented -- I klnow the dec will make us drool, If no seperate room available - just turn a bookcase sideways and block the view -- and make a sweet space with -- cabinets etc -- I bought several painted and shabbied shelves at good will for 12 dollars -- they wer just right for the books etc and --also so my taste -- Ah sounds fun to plan !! Just ask, you may already have it and don't know it. I do understand, I have a bedroom that is my space,,it is a mess too. I doubt if peoples creative space is like we see in the magazines...ya know...perfect and clean. I might be wrong of course.
