Stitches

"The most coveted heirlooms are those that took a skilled hand, untold hours and allot of love" By Laurel Pulvers

I was reading a book last week and it had some illustrations of stitches and the names of the stitches beside them... I must have been in very deep thought that day as I jotted down the name of different stitches and thought stitches are rather like life itself....

RUNNING STITCH....... some days we can't catch up ...

BACK STITCH...... Some days we need to step back and take a look at what is happening.

OUTLINE STITCH... Some days we need a outline.. We don't get it.

FILLER STITCH.... Some days we have to just fill in the void.

BLANKET STITCH.......Some days we just need warmth.

BLIND HEM STITCH...Some days we need to be blind to others faults...

BUTTONHOLE STITCH.... Some days we have to have the combining of two to make things work.

And then there is the days that we just need allot of J&P Coats Extra strong thread.....

Just never thought of stitches in everyday life that way....
