Attitude

Oh ....I would love to go shopping but I really mustn't.... I need not to be tempted to buy a few new things here and there...I need to keep it simple and find inspiration with found objects that already existing in my home... As the holiday approaches I have many. many lovely decorations hidden in storage... Being a collector of loved items it is hard to resist... I must play hide and seek and move my loved items around or use them in a another way. I need to realize the possibilities of my possessions... I must engage myself and look at life through the eyes of a child to find excitement of creation.... I do have many items to work with. Yesterday while cleaning house I went into the back bedroom and half storage room and saw a lovely glass footed cake plate just sitting there with no purpose... I thought this morning to myself and now sharing with you , I paid about 30.00 for that plate... I need to find simple pleasure in some of these elegant old beauties....
Today I must assemble ideas fit for a queen and make them work together for me... What matters if it is not exactly what it was intended to be used for... I shall create it's own personality... I will glam it up..... I will make it the Cat's Meow... and have passion for what I love...
You have just sit through a bit of a session of a attitude adjustment of talking myself out of not going shopping and spending...
Now, I am happy and I am off to search and place together things I love and GOD has already blessed me with...
