Happy New Year

I found a lovely old postcard photo to share with you on this New Years Eve Day.... And wanted to wish everyone a Very Happy New Year.... I know some of my friends are having some troubling times and I so wish for them to have better times ahead.... Have faith and inspiration the New Year will be filled with peace and joy.....
Ps. I have taken the last couple days and placed lovely little ornaments safely in storage boxes in hopes of opening them for decorating next season... I am working on a couple little tucks of Valentine's I will share with you in a couple days....
I am off to finish a couple chores I didn't complete yesterday... My daughter and her husband are coming for a steak supper this evening and a we will go to the Elks for refreshments and champagne at 8 and be home by 10... I don't care to party and like to be home on New Years so this will be fine..... Be safe all....

Marietta ~ What a beautiful old image! Love to see these.

Thank you so much for remembering (in this post and a recent previous post) that these holidays are less than wonderful for those of us who are suffering with loss. I lost my husband, mother and younger brother within a nine-month span of time and it has been very painful and life changing. Life changing, but not in a good way, of course. God bless you for being so thoughtful and kind to bring this up in your post.

So the new year must be better for me and I pray for a Blessed New Year for you too...
