Ambience

Crown photo from Jeanne d' Ark Living Magazine.................................
I am interested in adding a touch more french to my home and exercising my mind and finding inspiration on how to accomplish this... I would like to create some of this ambiance to my home without adding a re-do... I do feel I have some objects that will blend well. As I love the simple look of some french.... I also love the addition of bling with crystal and aged silver.... Adding some of the fresh elements to my old ones always makes me feel good... and gives me inspiration... I love decorating with unexpected accessories.. I know there is some objects out there waiting for me to place in a warm home that may appeal to my lean little budget... That is the most appealing thing about vintage......

Me too... I love decorating with unexpected accessories, especially in my garden, where an old tarnished silver pot and tray becomes a birdfeeder, and part of an old chandelier found at a thrift store would be sitting among delphiniums and snapdragons, catching rays of lights.... no rules or formal design, just things dear to my heart.... I have enjoyed my stay here.... blessings!

Love this idea. I, too, love the bling of silver and sparkles. And "the hunt" is so fun! make sure you post pictures as it all comes together - slowly but surely!
Happy New Year!
