Time For Romance

The time for Romance will be entering our lives in the next couple weeks... Bear bottom little babies with bow and arrows on lace paper doilies and fancy foil will start appearing... As the cold wind and snow blows this morning as I post, I feel little desire to go out of doors and challenge it. I will be passing time trying to find or create little treasures with no cost to replace the touches of Christmas now safely packed away. Yesterday I created little hearts from aged book pages and some images and a sweet little aged book page crown.. My idea was to fill a couple of my cloches and embellish a couple vignettes with touches .... of items already in my home. Thought I would share a couple of them with you.... They are very simple but will give me a touch of the romance for the up coming Valentines Day....

They're lovely! It has been brutally cold here over the past few days (in the 20's) so I am ready to stay inside and create. Thanks for the inspiration!

Blessings,

Kim

Hi Marietta! Good for you...you're not dwelling on the loss of inspiration that went with Christmas like I am, you've moved on to creating inspiration for the next holiday...I'm just not feeling Valentinesy yet...but I'll get there :) I LOVE what you've done!!!

Marietta, your lovely vintage hearts add such a romantic touch. I admire anything decorated with sheet music. So very pretty.
