Adopted More Family

How much fun to go to a antique shoppe and adopt a family .... I have shown in the above pics a couple of families I loved... Love the old clothing... brooches ect.. I made a envelope from scrapping paper { this is a two sided light card stock side of paper that when I purchased it I didn't realize it was two sided and I just love it.. I purchased it out of town and wish I would have gotten more... I embellished the envelope with crinkle ribbon and a bead and a old vintage piece of junk jewelry from my stash... Ready to display in cloche or sit or would be easy to hang by punching two holes in envelope top and adding crinkle ribbon for hanging.... I find myself very drawn to old photos ... intrigued by their dress and jewels.... some showing better means than others and wondering of their lives... Most were always in their finest and always posed with a lovely chair or lovely background of some sort...I am going to keep one family and let someone else adopt the other... I have been making some things to place at the Red Barn when they have their spring open house.... I am sitting here looking at a spot I think I will hand my family... OH DEAR... another hole in the wall... If we ever decide to move I will need more time filling holes in the walls than packing.... OH MY....Have a lovely weekend...Ps.. We are going to attend Tinora Girls Basketball Tournament tonight and attended Tinora Boys last night... We will play again next week....

Absolutely lovely. I've always thought the doublesided scrapbook paper was so wasteful but you have certainly put it to good use. Love your old book flower too. Have a great week. :) Tammy
