Did You Ever Have One Of Those Days?

Yesterday seemed like the words of a song.." And the beat goes on... and the beat goes on..." as it seemed I couldn't make my way out of the kitchen... I finally did late afternoon only to return to serve supper and dishes.... Tom helps me with the dishes...
After the pie was baked for church { gone before pictures were taken...opps}... I thought " Oh the oven is warmed up" and baked some banana muffins with topping.... Pulling them from the oven I once again thought.." Oh the oven is warmed up" and made a casserole dish of pasta..... Ok... that was enough of the "Oven On's" stuff. In between I managed 2 loads of laundry... sweeping and dusting house.... washing the front picture and door windows outside { the sun was shinning} but there was a chill in the air.... Right before supper hour and salad making I went to the rec room for a hour and embellished the wood bobbin shown in pic and made a card for Tom's nephew and niece .. the live in Huntington Beach, Ca.... and were just the proud parents of a baby girl... Made 2 cards in two days as it seems I never buy card anymore... just create them... I love doing it however.... Makes it seems special when you can make it just for them.... I was able to change a couple cloches I will share with you tomorrow... Have a great day... We have a gloomy... rather foggy day so far... Some schools in our area were delayed... I don't think the sun will help with a burst of energy like yesterday....

Marietta, are you for hire? I could use your unbounded energy in my home for just a week. :)
Your muffins look scrumptious.

That card is so pretty too. You really should make them to sell. Love the embellished bobbin as well.

Mmmmmm....those freshly baked treats look sooooo good! Love your music-wrapped candles. That's a project I'm going to try this week.

I love days that are busy but very productive. You made some scrumptious dishes. I do the same thing when I've used the oven. Handmade cards are certainly more special than anything you can buy these days. Hope today is just as good! Blessings, Tammy
