Making Our Nest

By nature I think we have a natural desire to live in a lovely nest.... As I sit and type this post two little finches.... the male has a red head and chest... so pretty... are busy decorating their nest... I so enjoy watching them but can't get close to get a better picture... They have picked the home to be in a metal candle holder.. They are working so hard to make everything perfect... just as we do... It is delightful to take moments off and watch them... Another sign spring is on its way... Our days this week have been very pretty for this time of the year but a change is suppose to appear this afternoon for a few days.
Tom and I had a lovely time at a friends home last night.... She prepared a complete meal, dessert and loads of snacks for enjoying while playing cards....and the table setting was lovely... complete with 3 vases of fresh tulips in different areas... Just a lovely time....

I love your flower arrangement....so springy. I have tried to really enjoy the weather and get alot done this week. At least when the cooler weather comes in now, it won't stay for too long. We can hope anyway. Glad you had a good time at your friends. Nights like that are the best. Take care.....maybe see you soon.

Oh how sweet.
I remeber as a child, something really rather funny. My dad had for some reason left three wooden floorboards leaning against the facade of our house.
The next day when he was going to move them, he noticed a birdnest on top of the boards! So what he did was, he built a support for the boards, so that the birds wouldn´t be disturbed.

Always nice to spend a lovely evening with good friends. How sweet that those little birds have found the perfect little home. Your previous post hit home with me as it is what I am trying to do, too. Organizing the chaos is such a big challenge. Wishing you a bright and beautiful day! :) Tammy

Isn't it wonderful to have nature so close to home and to hear their songs of Spring.
