Celebrate Home

Like fresh flowers on a lovely table, Easter starts the centerpiece for spring in my area of the world... I enjoy this season as it seems to be the one holiday to retain old fashion charm... with not going so over-board and having a simplicity and charm... It usually finds family and friends at home, more relaxed and content and not worried about how they are going to pay for all the stuff they placed on their plastic.
Little chocolate bunnies dance in children's heads while the race to find colored eggs awaits... This is all anticipated after a long winter and we start to view the world reborn through the earth... and Easter delivers it... I didn't forget that Easter just isn't for kids... I bought myself some small Mounds bars and some cotton candy....
A unhurried lunch and true pleasures of food and family will be happening in most of our homes this coming Sunday... If you are someone who for assorted reasons will be spending it alone, please as a special request from me, do something special for yourself....I will share some of my cotton candy with you... Maybe a few delicate blooms for you to enjoy the scent of their delicate perfume... Just enjoy the essence of spring. Tom and I have been hitting the jelly bean jar so hard that I had to buy more.... I won't be wearing a Easter bonnet but so have several displayed in my home to enjoy... The next couple days are suppose to be "front porch" weather in my area... I must get cleaning within a couple minutes here so I can have time to enjoy some of it... The real treat with the labor of cleaning will be I can open the patio doors on both ends of the house and let the fresh breeze fill my house while I ready for the holiday... The warm spring sun is displaying brilliant rays and creating a lovely day for myself and others to do labor and enjoy some moments before the breezy cool evening once again arrives... I am off to take in the gifts of the season and hope you can do so also......
