Passion Like Aged Silver

There's something about aged silver and the aging of life that seem to relay a story.... I have posted before on my passion for aged silver... I love using many pieces of old silver in my vignettes and displays... I love the way it adds drama with old documents from the grandeur of crystals... It underlines the vintage as it once was in its shiny state.... Letting silver age will grow on you... just as adding the amazing touch of prisms of a chandelier has a effect... Don't be afraid to enjoy objects in their nature patina...it my eyes it adds to the touch of luxury... aging is maturing... Finding great balance between new items and heirlooms and pieces from the flea markets can be easily achieved... Quite splendidly these objects are affordable and practical and compliment vintage style living... Don't you just love decorate table tops? The use of wonderful vintage available at a most reasonable price... At the end of our days after resting in our abodes there is a time that comes for pamper... I have posted before of allowing ourselves the exclusive feel of a special treat... you can achieve a scrumptious smell of bath oil simmering in a warm tub full of water oozing with it... added with a favorite magazine... To me this is a small taste of heaven.. Do take time for the pleasures our homes have to offer... These can all be achieved at different levels... It is all depending how much you want to place into it... For myself .. it's the fantastic nest with heaps pf charm not allowing life to become too overwhelming... The aging and patina helps us learn this and makes us love the embellishing... Hope this post has encouraged you to add a gorgeous silver crown to your way of living... I certainly so even though it be on a budget... Never be reluctant to add the delightful to your life...
Our lives become somewhat like aged silver pieces... we start out bright and lovely and through the journey of life we become somewhat tarnished but the seasoned and real beauty is still there in our knowledge and in our hearts.....
Add a piece of silver to you life today and enjoy the turning of time.....

ps. the lovely lady in the photo is a picture of my aunt who has passed many years ago now... Wasn't she a lovely young woman? Her name was ... Margaret {Sandys} Shock....
