Better Days Ahead

The photo above looks wonderful but stormy and gray and hazy skies are here for the day again... Later today I would like to start work on a project if times allows it... and I can get the motivation... I need to get gathering and pricing items for a sale I would like to have mid June... I removed a bench from m bedroom that I have always felt never really belonged in there but it was a place stash it... The bench was lovely in the entrance way of the church I resided in before moving here but never was quite the same here... I was thinking of just placing it on the sale but after long deliberation I have decided to add it to my little front porch... It has some wicker on it and I will have to purchase a small can of poly and add it for protection from the elements... I have pillows that I plan on placing in plastic bags for protection from rain before tucking them into grain sacks and sewing shut... I will add a couple other grain sack pillows for eye candy on the back of the bench... I would probably only get about 25.00 for the bench at the sale and it would take at least 125.00 to replace it so some labor for the change and eye candy was the decision... I am still really struggling with finding inspiration.... If the sun would just shine.... My solar lights are re-acting the same way I am... They are only good for a couple hours in the evening and dim into the night... my plants are all bent over slammed into the ground ... begging " no more".... Well it is getting time as I am waiting the arrival of my wireless installation gentleman to hopefully return my service to 100 percent.... Wishing you all a pleasant day... Better posts are ahead from me I promise... when I get my computer woes cured....

Marietta, your new header is so pretty! We also were slammed with a storm in central IL this morning. It has let up alittle but still so dark here. For me, dark days are good for crocheting. After the storm I really notice how green everything is. It wasn't so long ago in the deep winter I was missing the green. But I hope the sun starts shining for us all soon. Smile, Sally

I love your new header, i have loved all your headers. I have been a little MIA for a few days and look at all you have done while I have been away. You are so creative, what a blessing it is to see things the way that you do. Taking the old and bring it to life. Love ya, mary
