Sharing a Victorian Lunch....

Thought I would like to share a refreshing and delicious Victorian Style Lunch with you today.
Light special lunches with a iced beverage seems to always be a good choice on a warm summer afternoon.
The pork salad recipe below will also enhance chicken or turkey as a change of meat...
Pork Salad.........................
2 medium cups of chopped pork loin......
1 medium tart apple.... chopped
1/2 cup seedless red grapes
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teas. salt
1/4 teas. ground ginger
1/2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts
* Mix all together and serve on bread or croissants
*************************************************************************************
Victorian Iced Tea
4 individual teabags
4 cups water {boiling}
STEEP....
add... 1 can { 11 1/2 oz.} frozen cranberry-raspberry juice ... thawed with 4 cups cold water..
Mix all together when teabags have steeped... serve garnished and with ice.....
A dessert or fruit would be a fine choice with the Iced Tea and Pork Salad... When serving your lunch be sure to add charm by using vintage china and sparkling crystal glasses for the presentation.. A touch of fresh flowers will only add to the delicious taste and the appeal... Glad you stopped by for lunch today... Enjoy......

Sounds good....except for the tea. I am definately NOT a tea girl even though I have a collection of tea pots & cups!! LOL!!
I know ...I have been told I am in the minority! I just never could acquire a taste for tea...hot or cold!!

Sounds yummy Marietta! I would probably use the chicken or turkey, but it does sound wonderful! Glad the storms are past...for now.
