I had some fun with this old grain sack that was given to me....When I travel I like to carry everything but the kitchen sink with me it seems so I thought ... what am I going to use for billfold... checkbook.... makeup... phone... keys... camera... ect.ect.... I was folding clothes and saw a couple unused grain sacks laying there for projects and picked one up and started cutting... Basically I just cut the center away as you can view in the first picture... I folded the raw edges down and hand stitched them down with a dainty stitch and tied the two handles together... I had a little jute bracelet in my stash along with a old key and just secure that one for a little accent... I used a fabric marker and wrote take a old bag shopping and added a couple french looking numbers... This little project I had completed within 45 minutes and now have a hugh tote for carrying all... I think in the morning after brewing coffee I will use the filter and grunge it just a bit more as it does have just a couple spots than did not come out in laundry... Just having fun and creating for 00000 dollars
