It's Winter In Ohio

By the time we attended the Tinora gals basketball game yesterday at noon... the guys game had already been cancelled for the evening before the gals game completion... We received about 6" of snow in a few hours... Once again we are buried... I have no intentions of leaving the house today...
All the white fluffy stuff will once again find me searching for something drool worthy to do... Feel like sprinkling the feel of bliss everywhere as we continue through our winter in Ohio... It is forecast for more snow here in a hour or so.. Just perfect weather to add personal touches to a warm home.. Tom will soon be wanting a nice breakfast as many times on Sunday we only have 2 meals.. I have bacon ready for frying with some eggs.. A pie crust is ready for filling with a scratch home-made lemon filling, for evening dessert... I will be placing a pot roast in the oven to simmer all afternoon and fill the house with a luscious aroma... as we stay home and are safe and warm.. 2 loads of wash are also being attended as they should have been completed yesterday as I sat at the gals game... Of course I will find time for blogging and searching out those ladies to draw inspiration from... Maybe a Valentine's movie will be found on TV for evening entertainment.. As I peer out the window and finish this post it is really white and very hazy as more snow is forecast to set in once again this afternoon.. IT'S WINTER IN OHIO..... Opps, it snowing again.....

Marietta ~ I know how you feel. We are getting the same weather in Ontario. We thought it would NEVER quit snowing yesterday. ~ Sigh ~ is spring on the way?

Sound
Ike a lovely cozy Sunday to enjoy... My sister lives in Ohio also and she tells me it always snows. This year she got snowshoes!

Oh no Marietta...you know my son and I pondered heading to Ohio to visit friends and family but the weather is just so unpredictable and fierce this winter I think we'd be doing ourselves a disservice by even attempting it.
We may have to wait until June by the sounds of it :)
stay in and stay warm...

Hi Marietta,
Well call us the crazy ones. After our 6 or more inches of snow we took my parents out to eat in Jackson! Probably about 45 miles or more one way! My dad drove up here to ride with us and he got stuck trying to turn in our driveway , but after we got him dug out we were on our way. Haven't ventured out in stuff like this for years! Thankfully all turned out well. If was iffy at first, but the closer we got to Jackson the less snow and the sun was shining!
Glad you are safe and warm!
Blessings~
