Outdoor Spaces... using Objet trouve"

It becomes exciting when you allow yourself to get the most out of what you have around the house..... OBJET TROUVE' is french for " Found Objects" with the object of re-purposing in a artistic way.....
I have been working for 4 days now in my garden spaces and decks.... I have just about completed the one deck and am working on the little deck off the bedroom .... The deck off the dining kitchen area needs the umbrella and the chair cushions and just some tweaking yet and I will say woo hoo... I decided to only place one of my little china dish water fountains out this year on the main deck we use.... All the dishes lay in the large antique bowl freely for easy cleaning... I decided to just fill my antique mail box with a couple herbs this year and add a small antique cup and a couple rusty keys dangling... This little object from the past , will fill out to be very pretty and hangs on the inside of the deck for enjoying when sitting.. On the other side of the deck is a wire basket that I filled with some flowers and a couple vines...A sweet old charming pitcher has been tied onto the wire basket for added personality... This always fills out quite nice too... Cushions of grain sacks will be placed on outside chairs and bench on deck ....
I will take a couple more pics after I get it all completed.... The decks are very simple... not like, the more luxury homes, but, a very modest, but wonderful place to call home, and the joy and contentment that is present as we use these decks every day and every night... Almost every meal through out the summer is served on this deck.... It is our simple place of total enjoyment and the most wonderful place we can call our home and be quite comfortable with..... Oh, I know we are so blessed to have shelter, and even more blessed to realize how very much it means to us in our everyday life....
