Do you love old objects and antiques used for lighting? I so appreciate when one lets their imagination soar and creates one of a kind lighting objects with so much personality... proving once again one man's junk is another man's treasure....

An object that no longer may be used for it's purpose originally maybe in your eyes has expired... Using the skills and thought process and let the creative side take over you can recreate something else... A element of surprise... Using the pieces of discarded old junk can become very rewarding and very unique.... I think my favorites are the typewriter and the toaster... Too sweet.....

I'm back again Marietta ;-) Love all of the pictures you posted, isn't it amazing how every single "old, retro" item is coming on the market again? So somehow the feeling for these items never went away. I am so glad my dad always taught us not to throw things away too easily, they might come in handy one day (and he was right, of course!). Have a wonderful Sunday, Ira
