This Happens Every Year.....

Winter is in full swing here in our area of NW Ohio although we haven't had a major snow storm as of yet ..... The Christmas decorations are all stored except for a few winter objects that will stay out through January at least.... Every year at this time period I am pretty much in all the time and get the urge to push furniture around in different locations....This is a rather hard task at my home since objects were not purchased special for the home rather merged together when Tom and I decided to be partners... Many items do not fit together as nicely as if they were purchased new for the home and are not the right shape but I do the best I can.... He is not one that will say go out and buy everything you want rather believes you use it till it can't be used anymore.... Coming from a family of 10 children I can well understand his thinking and it works well with my always on a shoestring budget.... All the furniture in my living room has been moved and cleaned behind and I am still making little adjustments this morning after moving around in it for a day.....
The next couple months I will be coming up with some projects to keep me busy as we will not be traveling this year and the long months are still to come.... Most of the time I am content to spend all my time at home... Once in awhile I just have to have a change however.... I can honestly say I am very glad the holiday season is over.... I seemed to run out of the ho ho ho the last week heading into Christmas itself... I am not so proud to say but it happened... I not am keeping my mind on thoughts of spring and the opening of the new pool we had built last fall that we didn't get to enjoy and the use of my new area in the back yard... It is my haven.... I just love it there.... So with those thoughts in minds I am spending time with my blogging friends and hopefully finding some new inspiration to share with all.... It seems to take me a bit to get my self organized and back to everyday thinking as we place so much of the way it should be on the holidays and most of the time they really aren't as we are programed they should be....
I am off to take care of the laundry and later this afternoon we will be heading out to eat and attend a out of town Tinora guys basketball game....

Hi Marietta,
I go into "nesting" mode about this time of yeare every year. :) We purchased a much larger computer stand so to make it work in the computer/craft room I had to tear it all apart and start over. There is stuff everywhere!! I am slowing getting it back together and will be so glad when it is done!!
Blessings~

I am always glad to put the decorations away when the holidays are over. It makes my house feel really big. I went to Target, they were having their 70% off Christmas stuff. We have always had a real tree. I saw this really lovely tree and bought it for a little over 20 dollars. So next year we are going to be looking at a fake tree. My first in many years. I like to walk around stores when possible because I walk without thinking about it. And it is wonderful to be home, but we do need to get out now and then and just take things in. Hugs, Mary
