Wishing All A Safe And Happy Fourth Of July

Independence Day commonly know as the Fourth Of July is a Federal holiday in the U.S. commemorating the adoption of the Declaration Of Independence on July 4, 1776... Every day thousands leave their homeland to come to the "land of the free and the home of the brave" so they can live the American dream.. Each year as we celebrate with picnics and family gatherings and vacations we invite other nations to celebrate with us ... I just wanted to take some moments to wish all a happy and safe Fourth as I feel the temps starting to rise... Yesterday day got very uncomfortable for me as the temp reached 95 degrees... Today we are to reach 85 degrees... Not any plans today but tomorrow we will golf in a mixed couple scramble that begins at 9:00 a.m. After all the rain we had this spring we are now begging for rain as everything is drying up and the crops are once again under stress... It has certainly been a season to remember.... Enjoy the holiday and do remember most all of us are very blessed here in the states and should be proud and cherish Independence Day.... Let the fireworks begin......

Hope you have a great 4th. I have trouble with Sissy Dog, she is gun shy, last night had to drive her out of town to a quiet spot, to get her to do her business. She spent all night under the bed shaking. It will be worse tonight and tomorrow. I hate fireworks. But I love America. Richard at My Old Historic House.
