A Place We Love Most In The World

It is the most wonderful place to enjoy the peace and quiet and beauty... it is ones home... Having a pool is a luxury.. and I well know it...
Today may be the last day that we can really enjoy the pool for this year as the weather is suppose to take a change this next coming week... today however it is in the the high 90's again as I can feel the heat mounting it's charge already as I am sitting here posting... Tom is hoping to finish the larger part of the landscaping on the other side of the pool... I have snapped a picture of the smaller area we decided to landscape with rock and marble stone and grass and boxwood and a small little pine.....The really great part is the plants are half price in the nursery areas right now} He does have the border stone set and the plants set in the other area but the weed barrier roll and the stone needs to be added and larger rock placed about... The seeding was completed yesterday awaiting the fore casted rain.....
The surroundings are changing fast from the summers days.. Last evening the lights could be viewed the the distant background from the football field at Tinora High School and the sound of bands and cheers as the boys scampered up and down the field to bring home a win... Go Rams....
Even though much has been going on here for the past week I will miss some of the summer days as our area in Ohio is traveling into a cooler but beautiful time of the year... The colors of the leaves is aways enjoyed by all... With transition starting my mind always starts to think of get togethers , as gifts and homemade cookies... confectionery's.. decorations increase and wreaths are symbols for the seasons. Personal thoughts and decorating become a part of our lives... We try to achieve atmosphere to surround us. Old and homemade of course are personal favs of mine..
Scents and delightful smells are lovely to fill or homes as we have to shut up windows and doors to insure warmth... The lovely feel and smell of candles, are very appealing to the eye and smell as the flame does it fascinating dance as it burns... Yes, it is all approaching but for today and the next couple days I plan on enjoying the Labor Day holiday and wish all of you a blessed and safe holiday also... I know many will be traveling but for Tom and I it will be the place we love best in the world... " Home Sweet Home".....
