A friend of mine recently sent me these pictures of living in a church knowing I would appreciate them.... You see before I came to live here I did live in a church very similiar to this... It was quite a bit smaller than this however.... had the stain glass windows and all the lovely, lovely wood still in and large wood entrance way doors off the entrance and 2 bedrooms and a half bath in the loft...In the master bedroom it had a glass wall the viewed the very large stain glass window from the kitchen when you woke up in the morning. It was a wonderful place to live ..... I enjoyed my time there and dream of it often....
PS. I should have added the church was divided in half and was very efficient as far as central air and heat..... I lived on the front side with all the extras... main entrance ect....

These photos remind me of what it must have been like living in "Ye Olde Castles of Europe"!! I could live in a church as I love unique abodes but not something huge & grandiose because I like cozyness.... ((plus the heating bill is to be considered!!)) LOL!!
Absolutely lovely photos!!
Have a Wonderful Day!
Love,
Marilyn
I would love to live in any old building, and I think a church, if it was a cute little country church, would be fab.

Absolutely I would live in a church! As a matter of fact there is an old white clapboard sided church in a neighboring town that is for sale. I have often thought that it would make a lovely home:).
I would love to see pictures of the church that you used to live in!
Blessings,
Kim

Sure, I would live in a church. I would want it to be old with a lot of windows. These pictures are really wondeful. Have a great day, Mary
I would love to live in a church! Oh the wonderful architecture. You could just let you imagination run wild when decorating.
How delightful -- i love stained glass- Have them in our living room -- and all the world is our church -- So I say again -so delightful- Kathy - ga ♥
That is one of my dreams to someday fix up a run down church and live in it. When we lived in Minnesota there was a church that was turned into 2 townhouses. It was gorgous. If I would of had the money I would of bought one. Here in Sioux Falls, SD there is a church that someone lives in that they are fixing up. It would be awesome to do!
Absolutely beautiful! I'd love to live there!
Live in a Church! Yes! It would be lots of remodeling,,this one is really nice.

Gives a whole new meaning to home being your "sanctuary", doesn't it? Love your blog. I'll be back to visit again...
