The process of raising 2 sons and a daughter and working through a failed marriage of 27 years, being a sacred thing that most of the time we did not openly share or discuss, through blogging, it has opened the doors to release and sharing in a positive way the celebrations of life and some of the dark clouds that surround it. In my adult years of life I have succumbed to the practically of most things and thankfully have learned the difference .... I have stated in earlier posts about the difference between WANT and NEED, or as I may have stated in earlier years..... Being spoiled and not being spoiled... We just need to often remind our self that unexpected gifts are everywhere. They are waiting to be found... just as a gem in a shell... Our Traditions are also magical... Just as magical as a mother and a child dropping spoonful of batter onto a cookie sheet... preserving the warm tradition of baking.
The joy and happiness... blogging brings to me in my relaxed times becomes of great importance . It brings me bliss, and blessings... A bit like a holiday tree after being bedecked with twinkling lights and shimmering ornaments.
It truly is a way of sharing childhood memories, charming traditions and heartwarming and humorous stories.... and the talents of others worldwide... also takes me on vacations that I cannot afford... through blogging.... I send you greetings that you "TAKE JOY" throughout each and every day.....

For you too, all the best :)

PS: I love your posts :)
I enjoyed your post. Age does define our priorities doesen't it.
All so true Marietta...all so true..it is nice that we have this venue to express ourselves, and people actually listen and respond. Lets face it, our men are not made for communication, well not as much as we need anyhow...in general. And that is ok. But it is good when there is balance in what is important. Life is fragil.

YOu do have the greatest images!

Hi Marietta,
Great post! Regarding men...someone once said to me, "I don't understand why in the world God made men and women so different and then expected them to live together in harmony". A great chuckle for the day. I suppose they would say the same about us though. But we love em!!
Your cameo is beautiful too!!!!
Have a lovely day.
Blessings~
Blogging has far exceeded what I thought It would ever be!
It makes the world a Much smaller place...
Marietta, I know I won't spell it right but here goes...blogging is like living vicariously through others..yes, taking a vacation, seeing others creations, eating at that wonderful resturant by the bay, even crying when someone expresses a heartache. Crying for someone you don't even know is a wonder in its' self as well as laughing at someone elses mischief..Blogging is a blessing to my heart...thank you for being a "part" of my world...sharon
